2.3 Download Page

Here is the link to the CTC Simulator Program. This is a ZIP file. Extract the file and run the CTC.msi, which starts the Windows’ Installation program, to install CTC on your computer – this is very similar to other Windows’ Installation procedures of other Windows applications.

Sorry, we have only Windows Downloadable. It should work an any Windows PC that runs Windows 10 software. CTC requires Microsoft’s .NET-Framework 4.7.2. CTC was setup initially for Windows XP/.Net-Framework 2.0. However, older .NET-Frameworks now are hard to come by, and Microsoft also stopped support for older OS versions. So with CTC version 5.x, the installation procedure makes sure you have the latest .Net-Framework requirement. If your Windows’ OS is older but supports .Net-Framework 4.7.2, you should also ready to go.

The territory files are also Zip files. Download them and extract the member(s) to any directory you prefer. When starting the simulator, open one of these extracted files (they have the file name extension “.ctc”).

Note, packages have their own ID and zip files, however, their territory files are the same as the base territories the packages are built for.

Also note, the CTC Editor is not a downloadable item – it is part of the CTC program which can be activated with the EDITOR license. Therefore, while the Editor may be part of a package, it is not reflected in the list of downloadable files.

For prices please refer to the CTC program’s purchase info (Menu “Help” → “Purchase Info”).
